You may notice that every product in the shop displays options related to support, extended support, or future updates, even when those options don’t seem relevant to what you’re purchasing. This isn’t something we manually enable or disable per product. It’s a built-in behavior of the platform powering the shop, and unfortunately, it applies the same structure to all digital items. Rather than hide or ignore it, we believe the best approach is to be upfront about why you’re seeing those labels in the first place.
Some products, such as ebooks, guides, and standalone PDFs, are designed to be complete at the time of purchase. They don’t require installation, configuration, updates, or ongoing maintenance. Once you download them, they’re yours to use immediately, without the need for additional assistance. Because of this, traditional “support” or “future updates” don’t really apply in a practical sense. Even if the platform displays those options, these types of products are intentionally self-contained and do not require follow-up help to be useful.
Other products, like apps, templates, or more technical resources, may involve setup, customization, or compatibility questions depending on your environment and experience level. For those products, standard support exists to help you get started and resolve common issues. Extended support is simply an option for users who want longer-term assistance or peace of mind as they continue building over time. It’s never required, and it’s only meant to apply where ongoing guidance actually makes sense.
We want to be clear that these labels are not meant to pressure you into purchasing anything extra or to imply that something is “locked” behind a paywall. They’re part of a generalized system that doesn’t always reflect the nuances of each individual product. Our goal is transparency and trust. If a product doesn’t require support or future updates, you can safely ignore those indicators and focus on what the product is designed to deliver. We’d rather explain too much than leave you guessing.
